Men in Uniform Blog Contest

As promised, the Crimson Rose garden venue is starting off the Men in Uniform submission call with a blog discussion/comment contest. The topic is, of course, our favorite man in uniform. I’ll start the ball rolling but I want to invite you all to join in. No rules to this discussion except to keep it G or PG rated since we do have teens who visit the site.

My favorite man in uniform is a man in the naval dress white uniform, standing at attention. It goes without saying he would be looking at me adoringly throughout. I love the history it signifies along with the clean, fresh lines. It just looks so fine. All in all, just heart-racing stuff.

So share away – what’s your favorite??

Keep in mind, your name will be entered in a drawing for a free gift so comment away. Who knows your comment might give an author a wonderful idea for a story that fits in with our submission call. Speaking for all of the Crimson Rose editors, we all know there are some fabulous authors out there and we can’t wait to see what comes in.

Sigh…I can see the snappy salute and dress-whites now…

Headed back to the romances,

Lori

Yes, the naval uniform definitely does it for me. Officer and a Gentlemen is a great movie. :)

I love any military uniform but I must say, the UPS man really turns me on. Maybe it really does have something to do with the fact that I love what he brings when he comes but its also something about teh man in that bron and gold uniform....he sure gets my heart pumping. Strange, I know lol.

Hi all,
My favourite man in uniform is Captain Blair Sinclair, the hero in my TWRP novel, Shattered Dreams. He epitomizes all that is fine in a soldier, courageous stoic and capable of great love for the right woman. Add to that he is handsome and a wounded hero, enough to make any woman swoon.
Cheers
Margaret

Humm, my favorite man in uniform, well it's not a sexual way, but my grandfather. He was in the Army and his photo is just awesome. Think of Elvis in his uniform. And then there's my cousin, who is in the Air Force, when he dresses in his dress blues. OMG.

Honestly I think all men in uniform are inspiring. Something about that strength that power, the integity I think of when I think of the military. And the sacrifices they make. OMG it's just sexy.

Since I'm an Air Force veteran, I love a man in Air Force dress blues. However, an officer in Navy Whites like Richard Gear in Officer and a Gentleman comes a very close second. Yum...

My absolute favourite is my husband in his Ambulance uniform. My heart races every time I see him in it!

I also love men in bomber jackets. They look tough, cute and irresistible.

Sigh.

I'm totally prejudice, but I love a Marine in dress blues. Yumm :) (My hubby was a Marine)

For me it's not the dress uniforms but the fatigues, the field uniforms, that really turn me on. I stumbled across this picture of a man in fatigues coming home to his wife. It was just a grainy newspaper photo but he had her in a hug and a liplock, had her bent over like you see in the old romantic movies. It was the hottest thing I'd ever seen and I kept that picture around for inspiration. Talk about real romance!

I have a book filled with photos of my Hubby in his Army uniform.

*sigh*

It doesn't get any better than that for me. :)

These are great, friends. I love the ideas. After an afternoon of TV watching at my house, I have to say that some football players aren't too shabby. :)

I prefer the clean cut lines of the RAF uniform. Slightly paler than the USAF but there is just something about a pilot ready to risk his life for others.

Failing that a fireman for the same reason
