We looked forward to it every year and when they stopped showing them, children lost a big thing.Mary Ricksenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12676306822821614446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5926989890703867833.post-61291167657829705062008-12-17T18:45:00.000-05:002008-12-17T18:45:00.000-05:00Do I dare say I spend money??? :) We're into craft...Do I dare say I spend money??? :) We're into crafts this year. I'm big with certain traditions. I always make the same breakfast casserole that can be popped in the oven first thing and cook while we're opening gifts. The kids have special foods they get for Christmas that they never get any other time of year - silly things like the really expensive coke that comes in glass bottles that I never buy other times of the year. The kids have always been allowed to open their stockings before we get up; but they are lucky to have parents who like early mornings. Most Christmas we have all our gifts opened before 7:00 a.m.!

There's a few others but I'll keep this short (yes new for me I know)

RhondaRonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05888943566476528395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5926989890703867833.post-75051215513922232102008-12-17T11:00:00.000-05:002008-12-17T11:00:00.000-05:00I make all my mince pies and sausage rolls on Chri...I make all my mince pies and sausage rolls on Christmas Eve. Then we cook the turkey overnight so when the kids wake up really early the house smells all Christmassy.

We have stockings before breakfast, then everything else is opened after the Queen's speech at 3.10pm.Clare Revellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09441173125025351004noreply@blogger.com
